Children's Support Worker

Senior Residential Childcare Worker is a rewarding role that requires a strong connection with children and young adults aged 4-24. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate relationship-based caregiving in all interactions, establishing caring and secure relationships to ensure children feel safe and develop trust.
We are looking for an individual who can work closely with children to ascertain their wishes and feelings about their welfare, fulfilling tasks outlined in children's care plans in line with agreed timescales. This includes providing care for children's physical, intellectual, emotional, psychological, and social needs, as well as ensuring timely completion of records, assessments, and reports.
The successful candidate will engage children in the role of key worker as assigned by the Deputy and Registered Manager, undertake direct work with young people, and act as an appropriate role model. They will also meet consistently the health needs of children and young people, ensuring they have access to advocacy and children's rights services. Additionally, they will attend meetings to support children and advocate for them.
