Are you a motivated and caring individual looking to start your career in education? We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Aspiring Speech and Language Therapist to join our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant. This role offers the perfect blend of challenge and reward, allowing you to develop your skills and make a real difference to the lives of children.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Psychology, Criminology or Social Science and be able to work effectively with children with special educational needs. You will be working closely with qualified Speech and Language Therapists (SALT) and other support staff to deliver specific interventions and contribute to the development of the school's therapy department.

The role involves a range of responsibilities including assisting the class teacher, behaviour and pastoral support, building relationships with students and ensuring safeguarding. You will receive on-site training, support and CPD to ensure the welfare and safety of all students.

**Daily Rate:** £90-£110 per day, Monday-Friday, 08:30-16:00, term time only

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in providing the learning experience of students
  • Behaviour and pastoral support
  • Building effective relationships with students and parents/carers
  • Deliver specific interventions with qualified Speech and Language Therapists (SALT)
