The role of Housekeeping Manager at P&O Cruises is to oversee the housekeeping and laundry department, ensuring high levels of presentation, cleanliness, maintenance, and passenger services in all areas. The successful candidate will provide an efficient, smooth, and financially sound operation, enhancing the passenger and crew experience.

Key responsibilities include managing all areas within the housekeeping department, including floristry, kennels, laundry, and butler service. This involves overseeing and managing the effective and efficient movement of passenger baggage both on and off the ship.

The ideal candidate will be able to effectively manage their department, ensure adequate resourcing of teams, complete appraisals identifying development opportunities, and provide support to managers and supervisors to guide, motivate, and direct their respective teams.

Ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with corporate public health, hygiene, and safety guidelines is crucial. The successful candidate will also oversee cleaning routines, ensuring necessary rotas and work schedules are in place to meet the required level of service.

Salary: £32,000-£40,000 per year, plus a bonus scheme.
