Warehouse Driver

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Driver/Operative to join our team at Pharmaxo. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods within our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and process stock into the quarantine area, completing all necessary documentation and updating the system.
- Coordinate and perform the picking, packing, and dispatch of all orders for delivery to hospitals and clinical settings.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with administration for ordering and resupply.
- Provide a prompt and responsive delivery service of medicines to hospitals and courier collection points.
- Monitor temperature control systems and maintain all relevant documentation.
- Follow standard operating procedures in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice to maintain our Units 'Specials Licence'.
- Ensure the warehouse is maintained in a tidy and ordered condition, with all consumable stock replenished as required.
Requirements:
- Full, clean, current driving license.
- Previous warehouse and van driving experience is essential and must be demonstrable.
- DBS Check is a requirement for this role for any successful candidate.
Working Pattern:
Full-time hours per week, Monday-Friday. Shifts are one week of days followed by one week of lates on rotation:
Day Shift: 08:30 - 17:00
Late Shift: 11:30 - 20:00
1 in 8 weeks a driving shift: 18:00 - 02:00, Sun-Thursday, Friday off.
Occasional Saturday morning overtime for stock count (quarterly).
Benefits:
- Annual salary: £24,449 + £200 per month driving shift allowance (after full training).
- Annual leave of 25 days + bank holidays (increasing to 27 days after 3 years' service).
