We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Driver/Operative to join our team at Pharmaxo. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods within our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and process stock into the quarantine area, completing all necessary documentation and updating our inventory management system.
- Coordinate and perform the picking, packing, and dispatch of all orders for delivery to hospitals and clinical settings.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with our administration team to ensure timely ordering and resupply.
- Provide a prompt and responsive delivery service of medicines to hospitals and courier collection points.
- Monitor temperature control systems to ensure the integrity of our products.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to the warehouse.
- Follow standard operating procedures in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice to maintain our Specials Licence.
- Ensure the warehouse is maintained in a tidy and organized condition, with all consumable stock replenished as needed.
- Develop and maintain an effective system of stock control, including routine stock checks, stock rotation, and checking of expiry dates.
Requirements:
- Full, clean, current driving license.
- Previous warehouse and van driving experience is essential.
- DBS Check is a requirement for this role.
Working Pattern:
Full-time hours, Monday to Friday, with one week of days followed by one week of lates on rotation. Occasional Saturday morning overtime for stock count.
Benefits:
- Annual salary: £24,449 + £200 per month driving shift allowance.
- Annual leave of 25 days + bank holidays (increasing to 27 days after 3 years' service).
- Annual company bonus scheme (subject to scheme eligibility).
- Pension - auto-enrolled after 3 months of employment at 5% (with an employer contribution of 4%).
- Life assurance 10 x salary with a max of £300,000.
