Pharmaxo, a leading pharmaceutical and healthcare business, is seeking a skilled Warehouse Driver/Operative to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of products to hospitals and patients across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and process stock into the quarantine area, adhering to standard operating procedures and completing required documentation.
- Coordinate and perform the picking, packing, and dispatch of orders to hospital and clinical settings.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with administration for ordering and resupply.
- Provide a prompt and responsive delivery service of medicines to hospitals and courier collection points.
- Monitor temperature control systems and maintain accurate documentation.
- Ensure the warehouse is maintained in a tidy and organized condition, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Perform other tasks as required by the Production Management team or Warehouse Supervisor.
Requirements:
- Full, clean, current driving license.
- Previous warehouse and van driving experience.
- DBS Check.
Working Pattern:
Full-time hours, Monday to Friday, with one week of days followed by one week of late shifts on rotation. Occasional Saturday morning overtime for stock count.
Benefits:
- Annual salary: £24,449 + £200 per month driving shift allowance.
- Annual leave of 25 days + bank holidays (increasing to 27 days after 3 years' service).
- Annual company bonus scheme (subject to scheme eligibility).
- Pension - auto-enrolled after 3 months of employment at 5% (with an employer contribution of 4%).
- Life assurance 10 x salary with a max of £300,000.
