We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced County Talent Manager to join our Performance Team at England Golf. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the performance development of our amateur players through county coaching and competitive opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective performance development plans for amateur players, in collaboration with coaches and support staff.
- Provide coaching and guidance to players, coaches, and support staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Identify and develop opportunities for players to compete at the highest level, both nationally and internationally.
- Work closely with the Deputy Performance Director to develop and implement strategies to improve player performance and achieve team goals.
- Collaborate with other teams and departments within England Golf to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to player development.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including players, coaches, parents, and volunteers.
- Ensure compliance with England Golf's safeguarding policies and procedures, including the completion of Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service Checks and Safeguarding and Protecting Children courses.
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of golf and its structure, particularly performance and coaching.
- Excellent project management and programme implementation skills, with the ability to develop and deliver effective plans.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with individuals at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and travel.
- Knowledge of safeguarding in sport, with a commitment to ensuring the well-being and safety of players and staff.
