About the Role

We are seeking a Golf Performance Development Manager to join our performance team. The successful candidate will support the performance development of our amateur players through county coaching and competitive opportunities, while promoting education, enjoyment, and player welfare within a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement coaching programs to enhance player performance.
  • Collaborate with coaches and support staff to identify and develop talented players.
  • Organize and deliver coaching sessions and workshops to promote player development.
  • Monitor and evaluate player progress, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with players, coaches, and other stakeholders to promote a positive and supportive environment.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of golf and its structure, particularly performance and coaching.
  • Excellent project management and program implementation skills.
  • Understanding of safeguarding in sport.
  • Organizational skills and ability to develop effective processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to develop positive relationships with individuals, players, parents, volunteers, and staff at all levels.

Working Arrangements

The post is full-time and based from home with required attendance at the England Golf headquarters, Woodhall Spa for 2-3 days a month and with travel required as necessary to counties and on occasion with teams and squads as determined by the deputy performance director.
