Are you a motivated and organized individual looking to start your career in publishing or editorial administration?
As an Administrative Support Professional at Austin Fraser, you will provide administrative support across a portfolio of life-science journals based north of Cambridge. Your role will involve working with a team to maintain efficient and rapid record keeping using the database, filing, archiving, and prioritizing workload.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using the database
  • Manage all telephone queries on behalf of the author, referee, and editor
  • Generate monthly journal statistics and transcription of interviews

In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £35,000 per annum, 27 days holiday + bank holidays, a non-contributory pension (8% of salary), excellent onsite parking, and public transport links. Hybrid working is available, usually 2 days at home and 3 days in the office.

Requirements
  • A good working knowledge of MS Excel
  • Prior experience in editorial admin or similar roles
