We are seeking a talented Executive Pastry Chef to join our team at The Peninsula London. As Head of Pastry Operations, you will be responsible for directing all aspects of the Pastry & Bakery department, including production, inventory management, and team development.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of skilled pastry chefs to create exquisite pastries and desserts.
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase your creativity and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with the Food and Beverage team to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Manage budgets and resources to achieve optimal results.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-4 years experience in a similar role, with 8-10 years in a 5-star hotel.
  • Strong pastry technical skills and knowledge of current trends.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  • Fluent English communication proficiency.
