Project Engineer Opportunity

JRS Associates Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team in partnership with a leading manufacturer in the local area.

The Role:

We are looking for a skilled Project Engineer to lead projects in a precision engineering business within a regulated industry. The successful candidate will have experience in defining methods of manufacture for complex products and assemblies, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation and risk management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project execution.
  • Manage and maintain complex engineering drawings and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements:
  • Qualified to HNC level minimum.
  • Experience/understanding surrounding Nuclear Submarines.
  • Project Engineering experience within a precision engineering business in a regulated industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • CAD/CAM experience in a relevant software package would be an advantage.
  • Able to understand and interpret complex engineering drawings.
  • Good working knowledge of Project Management methodologies.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Project.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary range of GBP45,000 to GBP47,000 per annum.
  • Days shift (Mon to Thurs, 7:30am - 4:30pm & Friday, 7:30am - 12:30pm).
