Project Engineer

We are March, a leading provider of critical engineering services in the UK. Our expertise spans infrastructure, process, and digital services, leading to long-term partnerships with top organizations in various industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement RAMS (Risk Assessment & Method Statements) for site project activities.
  • Support the delivery team with mechanical delivery process pipework systems, vessels, and multi-disciplined projects.
  • Understand project requirements and deliver results while considering contract programme and financial budget.
  • Attend project start-up meetings and contribute to project planning activities.
  • Track project progress and procure materials and equipment required for the project.
  • Conduct site surveys and produce sketches to aid costing or design.
  • Contribute to cost reduction and value engineering on projects.
  • Collaborate with all departments, including Engineering, Manufacturing, Labour, and the onward supply chain.
  • Work with the client's team members during the project and attend regular meetings.
  • Ensure manufacture of equipment and installation of pipework systems meet specifications.
  • Liaise with and coordinate subcontractors, such as insulation, electrical, structural, etc.
  • Identify and capture project variations.
  • Knowledge of Design Risk Assessment.
  • Experience working in hygienic industries (i.e. food, beverage, pharmaceutical).
  • Experience using AutoCAD.
  • Experience using MS Project or similar.
Requirements
  • Effective communication with project stakeholders.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&ID's & PFD's.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
