Job Title: Resource Capacity Planner

We're seeking a skilled Resource Capacity Planner to join our team at Kier Group.

About the Role

As a Resource Capacity Planner, you'll play a crucial role in creating plans for our smart metering programme, ensuring efficient scheduling and minimizing disruption to meter reading. You'll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate the rollout of our AMP8 smart metering programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create forecasts and roll out plans for operational teams, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage the planning team mailbox, responding to day-to-day queries.
  • Manage annual leave and other non-availability, maintaining the resource modeller.
  • Upload bulk non-availability into SAP and Oracle.
  • Influence and report to operational managers to assist with planning and decision-making.
Requirements

We're looking for someone with:

  • Experience in a similar operational environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills and awareness of operational issues.
  • Good IT skills, particularly on SAP and Microsoft applications.
