At NHS, we are seeking an experienced and registered Audiology professional to join our forward-thinking team as a key member of the Adult Audiology Service. As a specialist in adult audiology, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality services to patients with hearing loss.

About the Role

The postholder will be responsible for delivering all aspects of routine audiological procedures, from diagnostic testing to adult rehabilitation with hearing aids and assistive listening devices. You will work closely with the service team to develop and deliver the service in line with organisational business and service development plans.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months clinical experience post-qualification and appropriate experience in testing, assessing, prescribing, fitting digital hearing aids and providing aftercare. You will also possess excellent communication skills, IT skills, and knowledge of general responsibilities related to patient information and record keeping.

Responsibilities
  1. To provide accurate assessments of patients' hearing needs and develop personalised care plans.
  2. To fit and adjust hearing aids, including aural impression taking and adjustments as necessary.
  3. To provide hearing rehabilitation services, such as service user information and access to hearing support.
  4. To assist with the development and delivery of the service, meeting agreed targets and key performance indicators.
  5. To maintain patient safety through consistent compliance with organisational policies.

We offer a competitive salary of £38,890 - £44,503 per annum, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package.
