Established as a reputable provider of audiological services, DMR Personnel Ltd seeks an experienced Audiologist to join its successful and dynamic team in Norwich. This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality diagnostic audiology services to patients referred by local GPs.

As a key member of our client's Adult Audiology Service team, you will be responsible for performing all aspects of routine audiological procedures, including diagnostic testing, adult rehabilitation with hearing aids and assistive listening devices, and associated follow-ups and repairs.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical assessment skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. We offer a competitive salary range of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver accurate assessments and suitable combinations of clinical assessments for all patients.
  • Taking clinical histories from patients or their carers.
  • Clinical interviews to assess hearing and communication needs.
  • Full otoscopy examinations.
  • Audiometric testing, including measurements of pure-tone air and bone conduction thresholds, including masking.
  • Assessing current activity restrictions and participatory limitations using a formal validated self-report instrument, The Glasgow Hearing Aid Benefit Profile (GHABP).
  • Loudness discomfort levels assessments.
  • Integrating assessment findings with service user expectations.
  • Developing personalized care plans.
