Audiologist - Norwich Position

This is a full-time position with an attractive benefits package including a pension scheme with 5% employer and 5% employee contributions, starting after 3 months. The client offers free car parking and supports professional development. The holiday allowance is 23 days plus 8 bank holidays for full-time employees, pro-rated for part-time working.
The client is dedicated to improving emotional wellbeing, communication, and quality of life of people with hearing loss and related conditions. They have a multi-disciplinary team of qualified professionals providing expert care services.
As an Audiologist, you will deliver diagnostic audiology services to patients referred by local GPs. You will be a key member of the Adult Audiology Service team, conducting routine audiological procedures, including diagnostic testing, adult rehabilitation with hearing aids and assistive listening devices, and associated follow-ups and repairs.
Responsibilities:- Taking clinical histories from patients or their carers
- Clinical interview to assess hearing and communication needs
- Full otoscopy
- Audiometric testing, including pure-tone air and bone conduction thresholds, and masking
- Assessment of current activity restrictions and participatory limitations using the Glasgow Hearing Aid Benefit Profile (GHABP)
- Assessment of loudness discomfort levels
- Integration of assessment findings with service user expectations
- Development of a personalized care plan
- Supporting ongoing professional development through training and learning opportunities
