Quality Assurance Specialist

At Randstad Construction & Property, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that fabrications and installations meet nuclear fabrication specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure quality standards are consistently met and compliant with specifications
- Encourage continuous improvements across the project
- Promote and implement the Project Quality Management System
- Interact with project construction and suppliers to ensure correct fabrication and installation
- Conversant with nuclear fabrication specifications and fluent with material certification review
- Participate in audit activities at supplier works and on-site
- Timely, effective, and concise reporting
- Promote a disciplined approach to supplier deliverable approval and concurrent review of lifetime quality records
- Nuclear experience working in a QA function or QC function with development into QA via lead audit and CQI membership
- Oversight of subcontractors, compilation, and review of lifetime records
- Understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems and Sellafield CQRM
- Maintenance of package status and progress reporting, raising issues, and liaising with the project and client QA/QC team
- CSWIP qualified Welding Inspector 3.1 or 3.2
- PCN II qualified in LPI/MPI/RI/U/T
- Painting Inspector, Qualified, ICCOR Level 2 or equivalent
- NEBOSH/IOSH/CCNSG Safety Passport training
