Mechanical Engineer CAD Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead our CAD design efforts and develop innovative solutions for energy infrastructure projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating complex 3D models of mechanical, structural, and electrical components involved in power plant design and construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the CAD design team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of projects.
  • Collaborate with project management and construction teams to review models and make adjustments based on feedback.
  • Develop virtual construction simulations to predict potential issues and optimize construction schedules.
  • Produce high-quality technical reports, model drawings, and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date 3D models aligned with ongoing design changes and construction modifications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, CAD Design, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a 3D modeler in power plant, industrial, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Expertise in 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, SolidWorks, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of power plant components, such as turbines, boilers, piping, and electrical systems.

Salary Range: $160,000 - $220,000 per year.
