**Job Description**

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented 3D Modeler to join our team for a Small Modular Reactor development project. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of power plant components, such as turbines, boilers, piping, and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:**

  • Create accurate and comprehensive 3D models of mechanical, structural, and electrical components involved in power plant design and construction.
  • Work closely with our in-house engineering team and sub-contractors to identify and resolve issues, clashes, inconsistencies, and potential conflicts.
  • Coordinate with project management and construction teams to review models and make necessary adjustments based on feedback, construction progress, and real-time data.
  • Identify risks and challenges that may arise in the future and implement mitigation strategies to reduce additional costs during construction, commissioning, and operations.
  • Actively participate in construction and commissioning, including frequent trips to the construction site to ensure quality and address technical issues.
  • Assist in creating virtual construction simulations to predict potential issues, optimize construction schedules, and ensure project timelines are met.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Architecture, CAD Design, or related fields.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a 3D modeler, preferably in power plant, industrial, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Expertise in 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, SolidWorks, or similar.
  • Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) software is a strong plus.
  • Strong understanding of power plant components, such as turbines, boilers, piping, and electrical systems.
  • PMP or other project management certifications are a plus.
