Digital Hardware Engineer

We are seeking an experienced digital hardware engineer to join our team in Edinburgh.

About the Role

This is a great opportunity to work on advanced electronics for scientific detectors, focusing on high-speed current detection, developing cutting-edge detectors, and sourcing optimized components for high-performance systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement digital hardware designs, driving new product development.
  • Contribute to the optimization of detector systems to ensure maximum speed and reliability.
  • Collaborate on PCB design using Altium, and work within a team of four dedicated electronics engineers.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1-2 years' experience as a digital hardware engineer.
  • Broad experience in digital electronics design; familiarity with embedded C and embedded software would be beneficial.
  • FPGA and VHDL knowledge is a plus.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £50,000 per annum.
