**Job Title:** Energy Infrastructure Manager

We are seeking an ambitious Energy Infrastructure Manager to support the delivery of successful grid connection outcomes for utility-scale wind, solar, and storage portfolio across Scotland and Wales.

The role is based in Edinburgh or Cardiff and involves managing relationships with network operators DNOs/TNOs/NGET, as well as appointing and managing consultants to submit T&D grid connection applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the delivery of grid connection outcomes for utility-scale wind and storage projects in Scotland and Wales.
  • Managing the relationships with network operators DNOs /TNOs /NGET.
  • Appointing and managing consultants to submit T&D grid connection applications.
  • Maintaining awareness of grid connection reform.
  • Input into strategy for identifying and securing new sites based on grid capacity (both generation and demand).

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering/Power Systems is desirable but not essential.
  • Previous experience in a technical role related to grid connections for electricity projects.
  • Experience working on renewable energy projects, particularly solar, wind, and BESS.
  • Familiarity with Grid Code/ENA G99 and G98 regulations.

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
