About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Associate in Psychology to join our Community Adult Eating Disorder Service south team. As a Clinical Associate in Psychology, you will work alongside Clinical and Counselling Psychologists, psychological therapists, and Assistant Psychologists as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychological interventions to adults with mental health difficulties.
  • Work autonomously with appropriate support, within your scope of practice, under the supervision of a registered clinical psychologist.
  • Develop and maintain a caseload, taking responsibility for proactive care delivery decisions.
  • Plan, assess, implement, and evaluate programmes of care, ensuring a compassionate, caring, and safe care environment.

Requirements
  • Masters Clinical Associate in Psychology qualification.
  • Eligibility for registration on the BPS Wider Psychological Workforce register as an Associate Psychologist.
  • Relevant supervised experience of delivering psychological assessments and interventions in adult mental health and community services.
  • Experience of working in a setting with service users presenting with severe and enduring mental health difficulties.
  • Full driving licence and car available for work purposes.
