About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Associate in Psychology to join our Community Adult Eating Disorder Service south team.

The successful candidate will work alongside Clinical and Counselling Psychologists, psychological therapists, and Assistant Psychologists as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to provide high-quality, evidence-based psychological interventions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver psychological assessments and interventions in adult mental health and community services.
  • Work with service users presenting with severe and enduring mental health difficulties.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop care plans and support staff in delivering psychologically informed interventions.
  • Contribute to the development and expansion of psychological provision in the NHS.
Requirements
  • Masters Clinical Associate in Psychology qualification.
  • Eligibility for registration on the BPS Wider Psychological Workforce register as an Associate Psychologist.
  • Relevant supervised experience of delivering psychological assessments and interventions in adult mental health and community services.
  • Experience of working in a setting with service users presenting with severe and enduring mental health difficulties.
  • Experience of working within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Full driving licence and car available for work purposes.
