About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Associate in Psychology to join our Community Adult Eating Disorder Service south team. As a Clinical Associate in Psychology, you will work alongside Clinical and Counselling Psychologists, psychological therapists, and Assistant Psychologists as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychological interventions to individuals with mental health difficulties.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
  • Provide psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions to individuals with eating disorders.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of group therapy programs.
  • Work flexibly to meet the needs of the service and its users.

Requirements
  • Masters-level qualification in Clinical Associate in Psychology.
  • Eligibility for registration on the BPS Wider Psychological Workforce register as an Associate Psychologist.
  • Relevant supervised experience of delivering psychological assessments and interventions in adult mental health and community services.
  • Experience of working in a setting with service users presenting with severe and enduring mental health difficulties.
  • Full driving license and car available for work purposes.
