Salary: £47,800 per annum (40 hours per week)

Job Description: As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Registered Manager with the overall management of the service. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of service is provided for Service Users through their person-centred care plans and that all staff are encouraged and supported to achieve and exceed their full potential.

You will ensure that all staff under your supervision have the right leadership, effective and efficient organisation, support, training and preparation to carry out their work effectively. This includes planning, implementing and evaluating appropriate nursing interventions for Service Users, providing ongoing monitoring of care and service provision, and actively participating in clinical team meetings and other multi-disciplinary team meetings.

This role requires you to have a strong understanding of health and safety matters in relation to hospital care services and risk management. You will also need to demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain a safe, harmonious environment for staff and residents, as well as experience in building positive working relationships with patients, their families, staff and other health and social care professionals.

Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 2 years' experience within a mental health environment, preferably with leadership experience. You must hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent, and be a Registered Nurse (RMN or RGN) with current NMC registration. Additionally, you will need to demonstrate values and commitment to leading and supporting a diverse team of staff.
