Senior Team Leader Opportunity

Cheshire West and Chester Council's Family Help and Support Team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Team Leader to join their Early Help and Prevention Service. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality services for local children and their families, including refugee families.

The Senior Team Leader will oversee the work of Family Intervention Workers, who assess the needs of children aged 0-19 and their families with complex and multiple needs. They will deliver a package of interventions using the Team Around the Family process and work towards sustained outcomes for families.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family support and intervention, with experience in advocating for families and empowering them to make informed decisions about their futures. They will also have excellent management and leadership skills, with the ability to provide clear guidance and oversight to the team.

The Early Help and Prevention thematic is underpinned by trauma-informed approaches that are responsive to need and have an inclusive and partnership focus. The post is based in the Northwich Winsford district, and the successful candidate will be expected to work closely with the local community and other stakeholders to deliver effective services.

Key Responsibilities:
