Service Care Solutions Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Nurse to join their team in a permanent capacity.

The successful candidate will be working in a purpose-built Detox centre, providing treatment to individuals struggling with addiction. In this role, the Senior Nurse will be responsible for working closely with the assessment/admissions team to ensure the suitability of clients for treatment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. To support the Head of Clinical Care in operationalising the Clinical Team Strategic Plan.
  2. Deputise in the absence of the Head of Clinical Care.
  3. Induct new nurses and the clinical wellbeing team, ensuring they understand all standard operating procedures.
  4. Collaborate with the Head of Clinical Care to refine processes and systems, training the team to deliver consistent clinical care.
  5. Complete risk assessments and care plans in a person-centred approach.
  6. Deliver care with equality, diversity, and dignity in mind.
  7. To identify and document any possible safeguarding concerns, liaising with the head nurse and registered manager.
  8. Ensure the recovery philosophy of abstinence remains an agreed goal of treatment.
  9. Create a therapeutic environment where healing can occur.
  10. Implement risk assessments and care plans to meet clients' needs.
  11. Respond to guest behaviours, including relapse, self-harm, or medical emergencies.
Requirements:
  1. Experience in managing wellbeing guides and allocating clinical tasks.
  2. A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
  3. A compassionate leader with experience in a management role (equivalent band 6 or above), ideally in various clinical settings.
  4. Experience in writing and managing care plans.
  5. Experience of working in and contributing to a growing business.
  6. Ideal experience in the addiction treatment sector, although not essential.
