Bond Recruitment is seeking a part-time IFA Administrator to support a well-established Chartered Financial Planning firm in St Helens, Merseyside.

This office-based position involves providing comprehensive administrative support to financial advisers, including:

  • Managing diaries and emails
  • Arranging appointments
  • Communicating with clients and third parties via phone and email
  • Preparing letters and reports
  • Tracking activities
  • Managing incoming and outgoing post
  • Preparing documents for adviser meetings and ensuring accurate client information recording
  • Processing new business, such as investments and pension applications
  • Processing ongoing client work
  • Being the primary point of contact for clients and responding to client queries
  • Responsibility for the full LOA process, including contacting clients for plan details, sending information to providers, and following up with providers to receive full plan information

Requirements:

  • To work accurately and proficiently with attention to detail
  • To take and execute instructions accurately
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365 and other industry-related tools
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in the Intelligent Office Back Office System
  • Relevant experience working in an admin role within an Independent Financial Advisory Firm
  • Proficiency in dealing with investments and pensions administration
  • Proficiency in dealing with Platform and Provider Portals
  • Ability to manage own workload, adapting and flexing to the needs of the business
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative to be productive
  • Self-motivated with a can-do and tenacious attitude
  • Good organisation skills and efficient time management skills
  • Desire, drive, and adaptable mindset to be part of a growing practice
  • Embracing Change: Responds positively to change, embracing and using new practices or values to accomplish goals and solve problems

Experience:

  • Pension & Investment administration: 3 years
  • Financial Planning/advice administration: 3 years
