Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Frailty and Geriatrics to join our team at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with frailty and age-related conditions, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Main Responsibilities

The post holder will be responsible for:

  • Providing clinical leadership and expertise in Frailty and Geriatrics
  • Developing and implementing care pathways for patients with frailty and age-related conditions
  • Working closely with our Emergency Department team to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Leading our Frailty Assessment Unit and implementing an Acute Physician-led AMU model
  • Collaborating with other consultants and healthcare professionals to improve patient care and outcomes
