Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Frailty and Geriatrics to join our team at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with frailty and geriatric conditions, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide expert care to patients with frailty and geriatric conditions, including assessment, diagnosis, and management.
  • Work closely with our emergency department team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement robust pathways for frailty and geriatric care, ensuring alignment with national guidelines and best practices.
  • Collaborate with our medical education and research teams to advance knowledge and improve care in frailty and geriatrics.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement in patient care and outcomes.
