At Accent, we're committed to providing safe, secure, and warm homes for our customers. We're seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Housing Services team in Barrow as a Housing Trainee.
About the RoleThis is a 26-hour per week, 4-5 day role with a 2-year fixed-term contract. As a Housing Trainee, you'll work closely with our Housing Partners to ensure effective management and maintenance of tenancies. You'll be responsible for onboarding new tenants, managing anti-social behaviour, and resolving customer complaints.
Key Responsibilities- Shadow Housing Partners to gain knowledge and skills
- Work with the allocations and lettings team to onboard new tenants
- Manage anti-social behaviour and resolve customer complaints
- Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
We offer a competitive salary of £17,325 per annum (FTE £23,323 per annum), plus an additional £1,250 essential car user allowance. You'll also receive 28 days paid holiday (pro-rata excluding bank holidays) per year, rising by 1 day per year up to a maximum of one working week.

Requirements- Experience of delivering good customer service and/or dealing with members of the public
- Experience with IT applications, including Microsoft Office
- Can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- Good organisational and interpersonal skills
- Resilience and ability to deal with change
