Job Opportunity: We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team at Glen Hydro Consulting Limited to provide technical, operational, and administrative support to our hydro schemes across Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and operational support to our hydro schemes, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Manage suppliers and sub-contractors, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent communication and report writing skills.
  • Utilize MS Excel to analyze data and provide insights to inform business decisions.
  • Travel regularly throughout Scotland, with occasional overnight stays, to support our clients and projects.

Requirements:

  • Relevant technical qualification (engineering, systems control, renewable energy) at certificate or degree level, or significant experience in a technical field.
  • Proven client-facing and service management skills.
  • Experience in managing suppliers and sub-contractors.
  • Highly proficient user of MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, including report writing.
  • Experience of the hydro or wider renewables sector, or familiarity with industrial control systems, is beneficial.
