Operations & IT Support Manager

Glen Hydro Consulting Limited is seeking a skilled Operations & IT Support Manager to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing technical, operational, and administrative support to our hydro schemes across Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain technical systems and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Provide exceptional client-facing support and service management skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and sub-contractors to deliver high-quality services and solutions.
  • Develop and maintain reports and documentation to support business operations.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of Glen Hydro Consulting Limited by identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes.

Requirements:

  • Relevant technical qualification (engineering, systems control, renewable energy) at certificate or degree level or significant experience in a technical field.
  • Proven client-facing and service management skills.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills.
  • Highly proficient user of MS Excel.
  • Experience of the hydro or wider renewables sector or familiarity with industrial control systems is beneficial.
