About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Presales Consultant to join our team at Intaso. As a key member of our pre-sales team, you will play a critical role in helping our clients navigate the complex world of cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Security Expertise: Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on cybersecurity, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in the security industry.
  • Customer Collaboration: Work closely with our sales team to understand customer needs and objectives, leading the process of designing and reviewing solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Strategic Whiteboarding: Deliver strategic whiteboarding sessions to develop and implement security strategies, focusing on protecting an organization's technology infrastructure and data from cyber-attacks.
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed technical documentation to support the improvement of a customer's security estate, serving as a resource for general advice and guidance.
  • Training and Enablement: Deliver technical training and enablement sessions to sales teams, partners, and customers, empowering stakeholders with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively position and/or sell cybersecurity offerings.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to address technical challenges, provide solution recommendations, and overcome obstacles, building strong relationships based on trust, credibility, and expertise.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the wider pre-sales team where a link to cybersecurity is required, building relationships with sales, product managers, engineers, and service desk teams to drive overall business success in security.
Requirements
  • Experience: Over 2 years of experience in a pre-sales or similar role within a managed service provider (MSP) or reseller organization, with previous experience in or collaboration with incident response teams being beneficial.
  • Security Knowledge: Strong understanding of incident response stages and handling, as well as knowledge and/or experience with endpoint detection and threat management products.
  • Industry Standards: Good knowledge and awareness of global information security standards, including ISO27002, CIS, NCSE CAF, and NIST CSF.
  • Security Frameworks: Experience with security frameworks and/or market-leading solutions, as well as experience in recommending and designing solutions to meet compliance guidelines.
  • Certifications: Certifications in leading market solutions being advantageous.
