Job Summary

We are recruiting a Bank Health Care Support Worker to join our team at Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust.

This is a great opportunity for student nurses who are looking to gain valuable experience in a clinical setting.

The successful candidate will have completed their first year of university study and be actively continuing with their student training.

They will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively as part of a team, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about working in healthcare and want to make a real difference in the lives of women, children, and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Care for a defined group of patients, including those requiring assistance with daily activities.
  • Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Requirements:

  • Completed first year of university study.
  • Actively continuing with student training.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: £18-22 per hour (dependent on experience)
