Senior Lecturer in Forensic Psychology

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lecturer in Forensic Psychology to join our expanding team of academic staff in the Department of Psychology.

The successful candidate will be a Forensic Psychologist registered with the Health & Care Professions Council, with a strong track record of teaching and research in forensic psychology. They will be responsible for teaching practitioner skills to our students on our MSc Forensic Psychology programme, accredited by the British Psychological Society.

The Department of Psychology at the University of Winchester is a vibrant and dynamic community, with a strong research portfolio and a range of specialist laboratory facilities. We are committed to the wellbeing and development of our staff, and offer a range of benefits and support, including a hybrid working policy, employee assistance programme, and contributory pension scheme.

The successful candidate will be required to work on campus on Wednesdays, teaching on our MSc Forensic Psychology programme. They will also be expected to contribute to the development of our research portfolio, and to engage with our Criminal Justice Research Network and research groups working in the areas of Childhood and Youth Psychology, Healthy Lives, Brain and Cognition and Social and Organisational Psychology.
