Job Title: Transport Planner and Operations Support

We are seeking a skilled Transport Planner and Operations Support to join our team at Culina Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our transportation operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide effective transportation planning and operations support to ensure compliance with WTD and EU Drivers Legislation.
  • Maintain customer service requirements and work with the operations team to improve and maintain agreed customer and business KPI targets.
  • Assist in the administration of operation compliance and support the Transport Manager's daily and weekly tasks.
  • Monitor and report empty legs, time lapse, and restricted parking reports.
  • Complete Microlise debriefs and report errors to the central team.
  • Check resource availability and confirm driver start times for the next day.
  • Monitor and report WTD issues and concerns to the operations team.
  • Ensure clear communication between day and night shifts and utilize the night shift handover document.
  • Manage driver hours in relation to customer requirements and volume demand.
  • Understand and achieve specific targets regarding utilization, loaded, and empty legs.
Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of WTD and EU Drivers Hours.
  • CPC National Qualification (not mandatory).
  • Working knowledge of GTS, Microlise, MyFleet, and MyWorkforce.
  • IT literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to question, challenge, and improve existing processes.
