We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as ongoing training and development opportunities.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Domiciliary Care Worker to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis with guaranteed hours. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and support to clients in their own homes.

You will work closely with our care managers to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring that each client's unique needs and preferences are met.

In this role, you will also supervise and support a team of care workers, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality care and support to clients in their own homes, following their individual care plans.
  • Work closely with care managers to develop and implement care plans, ensuring they are regularly reviewed and updated.
  • Supervise and support a team of care workers, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  • Conduct regular assessments of clients' needs and preferences, and make necessary adjustments to their care plans.
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the best possible care for clients.
  • Administer medication as prescribed and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure all care workers are following company policies and procedures, and adhere to all relevant regulations and legislation.
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a domiciliary care setting.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to use electronic call monitoring system (ECMS) to complete daily reports and review care plans of service users.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Good understanding of relevant regulations and legislation.
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to care.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing needs and schedules.
