Job Title: Homecare Worker Leader

Care Managers Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Homecare Worker Leader to join our team in Slough, UK. This role comes with a competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in health and social care, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a domiciliary care setting. As a Homecare Worker Leader, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to clients in their own homes, while also supervising and mentoring a team of care workers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of care workers in delivering high-quality care and support to clients in their own homes.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that cater to each client's unique needs and preferences.
  • Work closely with care managers to ensure seamless care delivery and regular review of care plans.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to care workers as needed.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs and make necessary adjustments to their care plans.
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the best possible care for clients.
  • Administer medication as prescribed and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure all care workers adhere to company policies and procedures, and relevant regulations and legislation.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a domiciliary care setting.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Good understanding of relevant regulations and legislation.
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to care.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing needs and schedules.
