Job Summary:
We're seeking a highly skilled Process Manager to join our team. As a Process Manager, you'll be responsible for leading and developing our Process and Manufacturing Engineering teams to ensure the successful execution of our manufacturing plans.
Main Responsibilities:
Promote a culture of safety and quality within the team, identifying and mitigating potential hazards and risks.
Lead investigations into quality issues, implementing robust corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Ensure awareness and understanding of quality standards among team members.
Drive a proactive approach to quality, identifying and addressing issues at the earliest opportunity.
Collaborate with the team to design and implement processes that build quality into our products and detect issues early.
Ensure compliance with IAC rules and policies, promoting a fair and consistent approach.
Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to track team performance against established targets.
Maintain and coordinate training matrices, ensuring team members are up-to-date with relevant certifications and qualifications.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving innovation and process excellence.
Budgetary Responsibilities:
Monitor and influence spending on the Process Budget and Project Budget.
Ensure adherence to the Indirect Labour Budget.
Manage allocated elements of the plant CAPEX Budget.
Person Specification:
Numerate and literate to minimum GCSE 'C' or '4' or equivalent.
NVQ Level 3+ (or equivalent) in Injection Moulding and Process Conditioning.
Degree-level education in a managerial or engineering-focused discipline (desirable).
Management experience of multi-skilled teams, preferably in an FMCG environment.
Working knowledge of continuous improvement tools with demonstrable results.
Trained to green belt six sigma level.
Experience of leading CI projects and initiatives.
Behaviours:
Influencing and persuasive style with a motivational and coaching approach to team management.
Focused on health and safety and CI, with a 'can-do' attitude and propensity to problem-solve.
Business/Functional Skills:
Computer literate with MS packages.
Excellent communication skills at all levels.
Ability to interpret data effectively and find solutions to low-affected areas.
