Job Description

As a Process Engineering Team Lead, you will be responsible for organizing, managing, and developing the Process and Manufacturing Engineering teams to ensure that the manufacturing plan is supported in full and to the expected quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Proactively promoting behavioural safety, hazard spotting, and safe working practice, and acting as an ambassador for positive Health & Safety activity amongst the peer group.
  • Leading by delivering 8D's / Investigations into Quality issues and delivering robust corrective actions.
  • Ensuring awareness and understanding of the quality standards.
  • Avoiding reactive measures and instead adopting a proactive approach to Quality so that issues are identified and dealt with at the earliest opportunity.

Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This role offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including a generous bonus scheme, comprehensive health insurance, and access to training and development opportunities.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Numerate and literate to minimum GCSE 'C' or '4' or equivalent and NVQ Level 3+ (or equivalent) in Injection Moulding and Process Conditioning.
  • Management experience of a multi-skilled team of Process Engineers preferably within an FMCG environment.
  • Working knowledge of continuous improvement tools with demonstrable results.
  • Ability to interpret data effectively and find solutions to low-affected areas.
