Job Profile:

NHS Blood and Transplant invites applications for the position of Blood Product Delivery Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will transport essential medical supplies and staff to hospitals, blood centres, and collection sites nationwide.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Safe transportation of blood products, equipment, and staff using designated vehicles.
  • Operating digital handheld devices to track records and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Loading and unloading heavy equipment on a regular basis, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Participating in emergency response teams and completing Blue Light deliveries, following thorough training.

Requirements:
  • Valid UK driving licence with 6 points or less (DVLA check).
  • C1 driving licence is preferred.
