About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Nurse or Allied Health Professional to join our well-established multi-disciplinary team in South Bristol CAMHS. The successful candidate will be part of a stimulating and supportive team working with children and adolescents and their families with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and provide evidence-based treatment for young people presenting with significant mental health difficulties in the community.
  • Develop and implement risk management and safety plans collaboratively.
  • Offer evidence-based interventions to children, young people, and families according to NICE guidance and local pathways of care.
  • Manage a caseload and use resources creatively to provide excellent intervention for children, young people, and families.
  • Work autonomously and as part of the wider team to deliver care that positively impacts the welfare of the child.

Person Specification
  • Professional qualification leading to registration with a professional body (e.g., Mental Health Nursing, Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology, Child Psychotherapy).
  • 2 years post-qualifying experience in mental health nursing or equivalent.
  • Therapeutic qualification for work with children, adolescents, and their families to Masters Level or equivalent.
