Researcher High-Temperature Materials Development

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced researcher to join our team at Alexander Daniels Global as a Researcher High-Temperature Materials Development in Cambridge.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- High-Temperature Materials Development:
- Develop and characterize high-temperature materials for additive manufacturing applications.
- Investigate the fundamental aspects of additive manufacturing processes and their effects on material properties.
- Experimental Work:
- Design and execute experiments to investigate the behavior of high-temperature materials under various conditions.
- Collect and analyze data using statistical methods to draw meaningful conclusions.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the research team to develop innovative additive manufacturing processes and techniques.
We require:
- A bachelor's degree or higher in Additive Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related field.
- Significant experience/knowledge of high-temperature materials and their applications.
- Familiarity with Python programming.
- A strong understanding of Design of Experiments (DOE) and statistical analysis.
- Experience with simulation software.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
The estimated salary for this role is £75,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
