We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced researcher to join our team at Alexander Daniels Global as a Researcher High-Temperature Materials Development in Cambridge.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • High-Temperature Materials Development:
    • Develop and characterize high-temperature materials for additive manufacturing applications.
    • Investigate the fundamental aspects of additive manufacturing processes and their effects on material properties.
  • Experimental Work:
    • Design and execute experiments to investigate the behavior of high-temperature materials under various conditions.
    • Collect and analyze data using statistical methods to draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the research team to develop innovative additive manufacturing processes and techniques.

We require:

  • A bachelor's degree or higher in Additive Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related field.
  • Significant experience/knowledge of high-temperature materials and their applications.
  • Familiarity with Python programming.
  • A strong understanding of Design of Experiments (DOE) and statistical analysis.
  • Experience with simulation software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

The estimated salary for this role is £75,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
