We are seeking an experienced Senior Materials Scientist to join our research team at Cranleigh STEM, Sustainability & SHEQ Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing advanced research projects to optimise materials for energy storage applications.

The Senior Materials Scientist will collaborate with project leads to develop innovative solutions that enhance the performance of energy storage cells. They will also lead innovation efforts to adapt and improve current technologies for application in large-scale commercial products.

We require a PhD in Electrochemistry, Material Science, Energy Technologies, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of industrial (or post-doc) experience in R&D or a related capacity. Expertise in electrochemical cell design, component interactions, and testing methodologies is essential.

A salary of approximately £60,000 per annum, plus excellent company benefits, is on offer.
