Role Summary

Cranleigh STEM, Sustainability & SHEQ Recruitment is recruiting a Senior Materials Scientist to join their energy storage company. The successful candidate will work on developing and advancing innovative energy storage solutions.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Designing and executing R&D projects to improve energy storage materials.
  • Developing advanced solutions to enhance the performance of energy storage cells.
  • Leading innovation efforts to adapt and improve current technologies for commercial applications.
  • Supporting the growth of electrolyte and materials research within the company.
  • Planning and executing research projects to optimise materials for energy storage applications.
  • Partnering with Project Leads to craft impactful R&D initiatives.
  • Developing and refining technology for deployment in commercial products.
  • Conducting testing and analysis of materials using advanced electrochemical techniques.
  • Preparing reports and presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Maintaining a strong safety culture within the team.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and shared knowledge.

The estimated annual salary for this position is £62,000 + excellent company benefits.
