Research Scientist in Advanced Battery Technologies

We are recruiting a Senior Energy Storage Materials Scientist to join our team at Newton Colmore. As a key member of our research group, you will be responsible for designing, synthesising, and testing advanced materials for energy storage applications.

Key tasks include: developing structure-property relationships and their impact on battery performance; proposing and implementing novel materials and solutions to chemical synthetic issues; and contributing to project meetings and brainstorming sessions.

To be considered for this role, you should have a strong background in synthetic organic chemistry and polymers, complemented by a PhD in Chemistry. The company offers a competitive salary of £55,000 per year, a 10% signing bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. We welcome applications from motivated individuals with recent PhD completion or 1-2 years of industry or post-doc experience.
