About the Role

We are seeking an experienced EHS Manager to join our team at GSK Barnard Castle. As a key member of our site leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the site maintains a high standard of health, safety, and environmental performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement EHS strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and GSK guidelines.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on EHS matters, including training and education initiatives.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the EHS Director and other site leaders to develop and implement site-wide EHS initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and industry associations.
Requirements
  • Degree in a related field, such as chemistry, engineering, or environmental science.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
  • Relevant EHS experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
