About the Role

We are seeking an experienced EHS Manager to join our team at GSK Barnard Castle. As a key member of our site leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the site maintains a high standard of health, safety, and environmental performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement EHS strategies to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the EHS Advisor team in conducting site audits, inspections, and investigations to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Collaborate with site leadership to develop and implement EHS training programs to ensure employees have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their jobs safely.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor EHS performance and provide guidance to employees on EHS procedures and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant EHS/management experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate employees at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and partnership.
