We are seeking a Principal Primary Design Engineer to oversee and innovate on projects, substation builds, contributing significantly to the infrastructure that powers sustainable energy solutions.

This role offers a balanced hybrid working pattern with three days of remote work and two days at the office or on-site, ensuring flexibility and efficiency in your professional life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of high-voltage substation design and delivery, ensuring all technical specifications and standards are met.
  • Mentorship and management of the primary design team, setting high standards and ensuring professional development.
  • Participation in client meetings, business development activities, and technical proposal writing.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor's or Master's).
  • Chartered Engineer status, or on the path to achieving it.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Proficient in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and 3D CAD.
  • CSCS / SHEA Power Card; Full UK Driving Licence.
